Luca Longobardi, Founder and CEO of Home Noir is an entrepreneur, author and successful businessman. His intriguing personal story, one of unimaginable highs and catastrophic lows, draws uncanny parallels with blockchain technology and was what inspired him to create Home Noir.
From humble beginnings he worked tirelessly to build a life one could only dream of, becoming a finance visionary working on Wall Street before founding a leading independent merchant bank, State Capital; opening global offices in Italy, Miami, New York and Brazil.
In 2010 Luca experienced a rude awakening when he was wrongfully placed on Interpol’s ‘Most Wanted’ list. He was arrested and imprisoned for a month in one of Brazil’s maximum-security prison, during which time he was branded by the international media as "The Mafia’s Banker" (fake news).
